MY FOCUS “ I developed this web site to share my photographs, and the special moods and feelings they invoke, with a wider audience. I have been selling my fine art photographs through art galleries, retail decor outlets, and juried art sales in Canada, the U.S., and Mexico over the past five years, and I’ve found that they elicit the same sense of discovery, joy and delight for many of my clients as they did for me when I first focused my camera at whatever initially attracted me to the subject. And this is why I make photographs: to capture and interpret, and then share, that sense of wonder, or surprise or balance I see in a situation – whether it involves an intriguing architectural detail in a centuries old Provence village, or some small element that captures the play of light and color in an everyday scene across the street or in my backyard.”
”I receive a true reward when people buy my photographs because they tell me they see something special in them – special in the feeling, mood, memory, or personal connection invoked by the image. When I see someone passing a display of my photography, then pause, and look intently into one of my images, a smile of recognition or pleasure spontaneously forming across her face – I know the photograph has made a deep connection with that person. And that is my reward.
